Osha's Kitchen First Generation
College Student Book Fund
Being a First Generation Student is so much more than being the first one in your family to go to college. It's breaking generational curses that no one had ever dreamed of, and doing that is daunting. One thing that First Generation Students are often unprepared for is the unseen costs of books.
As a First Generation College Student and a Life-Learner, We started this book fund scholarship to help first generation student be successful while attending a post-secondary institution.
Since 2019, First Osha's Kitchen First Generation College Student Book Fund, we have awarded 12 scholarships to hardworking, deserving first generation college students. For the 2021-2022 Academic School Year, our goal is to give at least 10 book scholarships to students. We want to start earlier in our fundraising efforts in order to reach this goal.
To help us reach our goal, please donate.
